The cheese lover hamper for 6 is designed for social events where you
have several guests! If you are a lover of cheese and want to try some gourmet
cheeses for yourself or with your friends, then this hamper is the perfect fit
for you.
Gourmet Quince Jelly Original (400g) – our quince jelly is great accompaniment to our
cheese hamper; it tastes good on its own, but the purpose of the quince jelly
is that it acts as a spread. For example, like marmalade and you can spread it
onto the breadsticks or bread and then add cheese on top, or just spread on top
of the cheese itself to give it extra flavour.
Breadstick Picos “Picos Utreranos” (140g) – our Breadstick Picos are another great
accompaniment to all cheeses. Our breadstick picos are smaller breadsticks that
are easy to consume and allows you to focus on the most important part, which is
the different cheeses, it adds another texture when you combine it with the
cheeses.
Premium Light Walnut Halves (100g) – Our Premium Walnuts orginate from the United States
of America. They consist of shelled, crisp dried walnut kernel pieces that have
a light creamy and golden yellow colour. These are great as an accompaniment to
the cheeses and add a texture that compliment the taste of the cheeses in this
hamper.
Blue cheese Cantar de Covadonga (100g) – The Blue cheese Cantar de Covadonga is a
blue veined soft cheese made from a blend of meticulously selected cow’s and
sheep milk. Originating from Covadonga which is located North West of Picos de
Europa Mountain range of Northern Spain. This region is particularly known by
its wide range of blue cheeses.
Rosemary Cured Manchego Cheese (180g) – Our Rosemary Cured Manchego Cheese is
made with pasteurised sheep’s milk. The cheese is coated with rosemary and
aged, the cheese picks up a little part of the amazing aroma of the rosemary
and adds an extra flavour. We recommend trying the Rosemary Cured Cheese on a
cheese board or trying it as an interesting twist to the traditional lasagne.
Mahon, Semi-Cured Mahon (DOP Menorca) (180g) – our semi-cured mahon is made with pasteurised cow’s
milk. Originating from Mahon Menorca, also known as the Balearic Islands our
Mahon semi-cured cheese takes between 2-5 months to ripen which gives it a
medium and very aromatic taste. It is a little bit spicy reminiscent of butter
or toasted hazelnuts.
Red Wine Cured Cheese (DOP Murcia alvino) (180g) – our Murcia al vino cheese is made with
pasteurised goat’s milk. Originating from Murcia our Murcia al vino cheese is
red wine infused, its cured in doble pasta red wine and aged up to 75 days.
This creates a semisoft paste with a smooth flavour, the taste of the infused
red wine is most prominent near the rind.
