The Mahon semi-cured cheese takes about 2-5 months to ripen which gives
it a medium and very aromatic taste. Slightly spicy It is reminiscent of butter or toasted hazelnuts.
Storage:
The Mahon, semi-cured cheese is kept refrigerated at 0°C to 5°C.
Usage:
Before consumption its recommended to keep at room
temperature and then remove the rind before consuming.
We suggest using our Mahon semi-cured Cheese (DOP
Menorca) in an inspired Spanish cheese board as well as in traditional Spanish dishes.
